Organic Liqueur Shiraz
Our 15 year old port, is a certified
organic liqueur shiraz. It is a delightful rich fortified red, vintage made of red Shiraz grapes. It has a smooth palate of chocolate, a touch of liquorice and plums, a delicious lingering palate, and a dry finish. This wine spent many years maturing in oak casks before bottling. This may not be a chocolate port liqueur as it does not contain any chocolate, however, it is magnificent to drink with organic dark chocolate.
This vintage wine is fresh and has vibrant red hues, showing its vibrancy and lush texture with softness and a deeply lingering sweetness that is beautifully balanced. A red fortified organic wine in a liqueur style Port – Late in the autumn ripened dry-grown organic shiraz was hand-picked at high sweetness. The wine was fortified with certified organic brandy spirit before underground cellaring and maturation and bottled after at least 24 months. We claim to have the world's only certified organic “Liqueur Shiraz”.
As a testament to the talent of the distiller and winemaker, this organic Shiraz liqueur wine is a 2009 vintage. Alcohol is.18.5% 750mL bottles. Drink now or cellar for up to 15 years.
Australian liqueur port wine
This sweet wine can be classed as Australian liqueur port wine. Having several years in old oak barrels in the underground cellar the wine has become a tawny colour.
